A necklace that detects a fall and alerts a caregiver with the wearer's location. I built it after a woman who came in for a meal at a women's shelter told me she lived alone and was afraid of falling with no one there. It integrates Particle Boron firmware, a freefall-then-impact detection state machine, Firebase, and a Flutter caregiver app. GameGala First Place out of 2,500+ projects, 2026; presented at Coolest Projects 2026. A middle school math competition run by the Lexington High School Math Team, twice a year since 2013, 130+ competitors per tournament. I lead Girls' LMT, an independent competition with its own budget, funded by the Math Prize for Girls Student Leadership Award Grant, with about forty competitors per tournament.
Build Your Own AI Agent Partner
A six-week course I led the design of and taught for the Youth STEAM Initiative in 2026, where about twenty-five members built their own agents. Built on Google Colab and a free API tier.
A classroom focus tracker I helped build at AI in One Day, the Paul English Applied AI Institute summer camp at UMass Boston, July 31, 2026. Anonymous one-to-five focus check-ins and lesson-phase tags without cameras or student data, with a live score drawn as a strawberry that ripens as the class locks in. Most Creative AI Activity.
